VCycling is a great addition to our program here at 123 StriveFit. Members really like the concept and are always commenting about how much they enjoy the scenery in the real life video program Fortius. VCycling catches the attention of the experienced or non experienced cyclist by offering challenging courses. They can compete against their own recorded rides, or the recorded rides of others. They can also ride at their leisure on the free cycling courses. It is very easy to become bored with one’s cardio routine and I feel VCycling helps members challenge themselves and keep things fresh so they keep coming back for more... It has even helped close the deal for prospective members!

VCycling allows for consistent heart rate monitoring, It eliminates the "shin-splints" that I usually suffer with running type exercises or on ellipticals, I really enjoy the workout because it takes the boredom away, I am planning on buying one for my home.

My name is Lou Motter and I am 64 years old and retired. After high school, I stayed in good shape for about 20 years and then I started getting lazy. The result is I gained a lot of weight and I discovered it is very easy to stay overweight and out of shape. One day, Buzz Gardner set up 2 bikes in our church and introduced me to VCycling and I was hooked. I have since purchased one for my home and my wife Joyce is now an avid user. The heart rate monitoring system is exactly what we need to build up our cardio system while we are having fun and enjoying the beautiful scenery. It really takes the boredom out of exercise as we ride through parts of the world that we have never seen. I now feel much better about myself and I recommend it to everyone.

In 2005 we were a major recipient of the Carol M. White Federal PEP Grant.
We decided to go with VCycling and it was the BEST decision we could have made. There is no better system that we could have brought into our school that services or has the advantage to service every child like virtual cycling! Any child can use our new virtual cycling theatre, hence, "no child is left behind"!
It was the best choice that we could have possibly made...our vision was right on the money! VCycling with Buzz Gardner and staff made the transition into the world of technology via virtual cycling such a pleasure.
Even the "novice" technology based physical educator can learn at a pace to make learning fun and exciting for themselves as well as their junior and senior high school students.
We would be happy to assist anyone interested in knowing more about what we have done here at Montoursville High School or if you are interested in coming for a visit. Please contact me at jbrelsford@chilitech.net.

I am a membership sales advisor at the Alexander’s Athletic Club where VCycling is offered to our members. Among many of my prospective members, I have seen a strong interest in this new way of bicycle racing and training indoors. I have many walk-ins that come on a tour of the club and VCycling is a big selling point to many of them. I have also seen a growing interest in VCycling among our existing members. At any given time you can find someone racing or just riding on the bikes. Not only is it a great workout and selling tool for the club but it’s also a fun way to exercise.
I believe this could be one of the best services we offer to our members!
Sincerely,
Nena Vallee

I am a 33 year-old male who works out on a regular basis to maintain an extremely high level of fitness. I have been strength training for approximately 17 years and have competed in athletics my entire life including NCAA football and bodybuilding shows at the national level. My profession as a police officer has allowed me to participate in several police Olympic competitions. During these competitions I competed in decathlon events. Throughout the extensive training that I have been involved in, I have not found a workout as challenging and rewarding as the one that I get from the VCycling bike system.
I believe that the since the technology allows you to compete against others or your own personal best time, this separates the VCycling system from any equipment that I have used in the past. I have reduced my personal best time on a 4.6 mile course by approximately two minutes in the last month. I also run on a regular basis and have noticed an improvement in my 3 mile time of approximately 30 seconds (20 minutes to 19 minutes 33 seconds). The only difference in my training recently is the use of the VCycling system.
I believe in cross training and setting challenging goals in the gym, the VCycling bike system not only make this possible but it adds a fun and competitive element to the workout.
My advice for anyone who wants to improve the fitness level or add another dimension to their gym training would be to join a club that offers the VCycling system.
Sincerely,
Aaron Borello

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your kindness in allowing our schools to use VCycling. We used it only at our senior high school and I must say it was a big hit with the students. As you know we hosted numerous members of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention including the director, Dr. Julie Gerberding. You will be pleased to know that upon entering our fitness center all of them became very enamored with your bikes. It became very difficult to get them past VCycling to see the remainder of our program.
Buzz, I have to let you know that some of our students and a few of our faculty have admitted their disappointment when you had to come and pick the bikes up. We are certainly hoping that some time in the near future we can come upon the funding to make VCycling a permanent fixture in our program.
As always, let me know if I can be of help to you. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Tim McCord

I am nominating Buzz Gardner and Bill Pierce of VCycling. We won the PEP Grant in 2004 and enlisted VCycling to be our supplier of a virtual cycling theater...it was and is the best thing we could have done for our kids, our educational staff, our community and our school. Their website is www.vcycling.com there you will find much information and a video clip of vcycling at our school, Montoursville High School.
Please contact them to be exhibitors and say you got their names from us, Jeannette Brelsford and Mike Cillo. You will not be sorry!
Thank you,
